here’s an idea - don’t inadvertently delete your htaccess file from the directory after trying something out because not having one means that the rss feed also disappears. hopefully this post will show up in my rss feeder in a few minutes…
after seeing the sony bravia cm, i also wanted to know who the cm music was written by, and turns out it was tatsuki hashimoto. he has a long string of cm credits, some soundtrack and production work i believe, and wrote the first song on chara’s last album ‘union’ (私を見つめて).
some of my favourites of his cm work include the recent uniqlo campaign (whistling and cut up finger snaps);
a piece for nonno magazine (sounds kaji hideki/shibuya kei-ish);
and one for toli (including french lyrics).
by the way, the rss feed for this blog seems stuffed for some reason. i’m not getting updates in google reader, and hence turned off the “bad behavior” spam protection i recently installed, incase it was blocking readers as well. but still, i’m not sure what is causing it…

more scans from that roll of nicely coloured rainbow7…

nana is the queen of scenery and abandoned places (though with a pen ft)

every christmas i get the same dumb fascination with these minatures.

jasper is already used to us pointing a camera in his face all the time. when he’s a teenager he’s going to tell me to stop it.

hi santa, i’m shooting you with my old camera

did i decide to get a pen d because of hanayo’s pictures? maybe… i like her pictures for their random focus and blur, but for the same reason i also dislike them, since some of them seem merely happy accidents. this is the nature of the instrument, if you forget to change the distance of focus (feet is very confusing for me to remember), or forget to change the aperture and shutter speed, or deliberately leave it that way to overexpose. and also her pictures are not what makes her famous, but her name makes her pictures famous, i would argue.
gallery koyanagi are holding another exhibition for her this month, composed of photographs taken last year, like this guy’s butt. likewise, half of me is also wishing i could go and see it.
