aka to the one i love or hahaha, i can’t believe there is some soppy stuff that i will actually fall for.
but i know why! it is because he is destined to lose his sight, AND he is a photographer! he acts like an asshole initially, but his multiple takes on the sea and sky reveal just how much he actually cares!
and anyone who can take a simple solemn, true photograph is worthy. of kanno miho.
i think he was using leica lenses but i forgot.
today some guy snapped me with his nikon digital slr as i was crossing the street to the train station. maybe it was the yellow kodak photo envelope i had in my hand.
which makes me think, if people have licence to snap me, then it is equally as powerful for me to do that to complete strangers.
anyway, since i haven’t been posting here as much as i used to, i figured i might as well start posting photographs that i don’t feel are suitable for flickr. for whatever reason that is - maybe only i think they’re interesting, and flickr doesn’t let me post a five hundred word essay about it (inspired in part by valerian, because sometimes context and personal feeling is important).
how do i begin this? with a photo series of my brother the professional cat squasher.
this would get four views on flickr, but i find these photographs amusing and gentle at the same time. and this is what you get for reading car magazines.
