September 12th, 2004 fifty random things about me, which i will continue later.
i’m bored, so here goes.
1. i do not particularly like the colour yellow. but yellow flowers are okay.
2. i still can’t pronounce ‘tennenbaum’, even though i own the movie of the same name and have watched it at least ten or fifteen times.
3. i pull faces all the time and this makes me pretty ugly.
4. at various stages of my life i have aspired to be a writer, a witch, a lawyer, and a psychologist. guess which one remains.
5. my favourite actor is owen wilson. which might be a bad thing if it relegates jimmy stewart to second place.
6. the ‘my pictures’ folder in my computer is filled with manga scanlations, pictures of girls, photobooks, magazine layouts, more pictures of girls.
7. i have not read ‘the catcher in the rye’ yet, and this is one of the things i want to do.
8. i am really picky about bits of hair lying about on the floor and clothes.
9. when i was five, i kicked my brother down the stairs. being his cheeky self he refused to move from the spot where he lay. putting my foot into action, he rolled a few, and arriving at the bottom step, started crying. my father came to see the fuss - i lied and said he fell. this made me feel guilty for many years and when gabriel would mention it, i would pretend that it never happened. these days i don’t care anymore and i own up, but neither of our parents believe our story. this is probably even better than me kicking gab down the stairs.
10. francoise hardy and jacques dutronc are the best pairing ever.
