recently i purchased “picnics - best of harco 1997-2006” off yahoo auctions, since i wanted the out of print with dvd edition. to my surprise, mikako-chan features in the 2000 video to “makimodosu jikan”.
the basic premise is that mikako is a little sadistic, and harco smokes in reverse while mouthing the correct lyrics.
i like harco even now, but seven years ago he was a lot thinner and less oyaji.
gratuitous cool smoking shot.
but mikako has her shotguns…
and blows up his sound system (ha ha)
and dispenses with harco.

so i cancelled my subscription to spoon because i figured there wouldn’t be much more mikako content, and my money was better spent on some other magazine. andy what do you know, mikako gets put on the cover again, thanks to the release of megane (see also, pict up). i’ll just have to buy a copy from amazon or tower records online…
